Dear Sir, iam writing this post after i took a look at the used softwares and actully the combination is really strong.i have worked on an e-school project that uses PHP programing language which runs on the tomcats Appache server and the data base server was mySQL and this combination is compitable with each other and it is really strong.and i would suggest for you in order to make your work with the database much more eiser to use PHPMyAdmin this software is used to create tables and do any required modification on the data using a graphical user interface rather than using the DOS prompt to write your commands.simply it makes life easer when we consider working with a data base and writing long SQL commands while inserting data or creating new records.i would also sugget for writing your programs rather than using notepad files or including the PHP code within the HTML code in the front page, you can use the Editplus editor, this software is used to check out the code you are writing.it also gives different colors to different types of codes which helps to detect errors very easy so that you can do any corrections before having to run the page every time on the browser and then start thinking why you did not get the required output. best regards, the_gardeenia.
