This is quite touching but true - we do this all the time without realizing it - we tend to impress strangers but hurt those close to us Harsh Words Spoken
I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn’t watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said good-bye.
But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.
While I lay awake in bed, I heard an inner small voice came to me and said, "While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, But the children you love, you seem to abuse. Go and look on the kitchen floor, You’ll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, And you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.
By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found ’em, out by the tree. I picked ’em because they’re pretty like you. I knew you’d like ’em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that’s okay. I love you anyway."
I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."
Are you aware that: If we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our own family - an unwise investment indeed.
So what is behind the story? Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY=(F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER, (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU!
Fill life with love and bravery and we shall live a life uncommon.

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.
Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall’s Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door. She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was too busy at this moment.
Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster No good. Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glasscounter. That did it!
And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "I’m talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven’t seen in ages," he said without waiting for a reply to his question.
Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He’s really, really sick... and I want to buy a miracle."
’’I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist.
His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"
We don’t sell miracles here, little girl. I’m sorry but I can’t help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little.
"Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs."
The pharmacist’s brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"
I don’t know," Tess replied with hereyes welling up. "I just know he’s really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can’t pay for it, so I want to use my money."
How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago.
One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly. "And it’s all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to."
Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents---the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.
He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let’s see if I have the miracle you need."
That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn’t long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.
That surgery," her Mom whispered. "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?" Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost...one dollar and eleven cents ..... plus the faith of a little child.
A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law..... (A TRUE STORY)

A ball is a circle, no beginning, no end. It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends. But the treasure inside for you to see is the treasure of friendship you’ve granted to me.

Top of pageSpipEM allows to install in few clicks any modification of SPIP (like those available on Spip-Contrib).
Image : -
SpipEM is a tool which makes possible to install automatically all modifications of SPIP.Image : -
Lets take an example: Image : -
thus SpipEM avoids the need to edit, modify the SPIP files and sometimes its database when adding a modification.Image : -
For now only very few authors gave their publications with a MOD file.
Image : -
So Swen Kerik and I adapted some of them which you can find online Image : -
If a modification available on Spip-Contrib (or elsewhere) interests you as a MOD, feel free to ask me (or with its author)!Image : -
Already available MODS:Image :
Image : -
Some others are under work.Image : -
SPIP: Compatible with the version 1.6.x and SPIP 1.7.x (compatible with the version 1.4.x and 1.5.x but not sufficient return with these versions).
Image : -
PHP: Tested with PHP 4.2 and 4.3 (should be compatible with all the php 4.x).Image : -
Image :
Download the latest releaseImage : -
Read the documentation about Image : -
Image : -
SpipEM should be installed in the "spipem" sub-directory of the well-known "ecrire/".
Image : -
Image : -
You may access it by pointing your browser to the below address (example):
Image :
Image : -
Once the "self-installation" of SpipEM finished, go back to: Image : -
Then you will be able to install MODs that you wish.
Image : -
A first default MOD is already available: "Finalize SpipEM Installation", it provides a button to access SpipEM within the SPIP administrators menu-bar.
Image : -
Installing this MOD is not a requirement.
Image : -
As the SpipEM "installation" is ended, you can as of now use it to install the wished MODs on your site.
Image : -
For that: Image : -
For the authors of modifications (able to provide their own MODs), SpipEM provides now:
Image : -
basic operations (edit, replace, remove lines of code or HTML files),
Image : -
to do some SQL (simple MySQL commands),
Image : -
to manage a MOD installation,
Image : -
install of SpipEM in two partsImage : -
